This is one beautiful table (If I might say so myself) The top is made of wide solid oak boards that I plane so that some of the roughness shows through. I use a draw plane around the edges to give it a very "used" look to it. The base and legs are of poplar and It is very stable and sturdy. You can call it a farm house table, a country table, a meeting table or Your Table. I can make this in a lot of different sizes. I don't make the chairs but I do make some great oak benches to match!
